The Spotswood Public Schools Board of Education seeks a proven and dynamic educational leader to continue to advance student success for all students. This PK – 12 district serves students from the communities of Helmetta, and Spotswood. Students from Milltown attend the high school as part of a sending/receiving relationship with Milltown Public Schools. Approximately 1,700 students attend Spotswood School District, in four schools, with approximately 160 teaching staff and a budget of $35 million dollars. Spotswood has a rich history with communities who are very supportive and inspire their students.
The ideal candidate will have documented success and experience in strong interpersonal and leadership skills, personnel management, effective communications, finance, curriculum, planning, technology, and documented success in improving student success.
Qualifications:
• NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility (CE) required
• Experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent or in Central office preferred
• Principal experience preferred
• Classroom teaching experience required
• Earned Doctorate preferred
Salary: commensurate with experience; subject to NJ regulations.
