The Edgewater Park Township School District, a “hidden gem” in Burlington County, seeks a highly effective educational leader to serve as Superintendent of Schools. This diverse and multi-cultural PreK-8 grade district, with an expanding multi-language learner population, serves approximately 985 students in 2 schools with approximately 128 teaching staff and operates with a budget of $34 million dollars.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator with the enthusiasm and skills to lead our district in the advancement of student achievement. The ideal candidate will have documented success and expertise in personnel management, curriculum – development, implementation and evaluation, operations, communication – with board, parents, community, and staff, and in improving student achievement.
Qualifications
• NJ School Administrator or Certificate of Eligibility required
• Previous experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Central Office Administrator, Principal, or in a supervisory role is required
• Elementary experience preferred
• Classroom teaching experience preferred
• Earned Doctorate preferred
