The New Jersey School Boards Association, a nonpartisan, state-created federation of boards of education that provides mandated governance training to 580 public school districts and the trustees representing the majority of the state’s charter schools, is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to the Executive Director/CEO to join its team.
The successful candidate will manage the schedule and communications of the Executive Director/CEO and ensure the efficient operation of the Executive Office.
Major duties include:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for Executive Director/CEO.
- Develop and monitor the annual budget for the executive office.
- Assist the Association’s officers and Executive Director/CEO as needed with expense reports, scheduling meetings, meeting preparation and other duties as assigned.
- Compose and send emails/letters on behalf of Executive Director/CEO as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Director/CEO.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum of three years’ experience as an administrative assistant
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Preferred: Previous c-level experience as an executive assistant for a company, corporation, or association
- Preferred: Experience with social media platforms
Minimum salary $90,000.
