More than half of the top 25 New Jersey high schools as per a new ranking from U.S. News & World Report are vocational-technical schools, according to a news release from the New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools.
High Technology High School, part of the Monmouth County Vocational School District, ranked No. 24 nationally; and Edison Academy Magnet School, part of the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School District, ranked No. 42 nationally. Five more New Jersey county vocational-technical schools ranked in the top 100 nationally. County vocational-technical schools make up nine of the top 10 New Jersey high schools, according to the news release.
The top 25 high schools in New Jersey as per the U.S. News & World Report ranking (with county vocational-technical schools in bold) in New Jersey are:
