“Our Workshop theme this year is ‘Today’s Students … Tomorrow’s Superheroes,’” said Dr. Timothy Purnell, executive director and CEO of the NJSBA. “As we strive to help students advance toward success, we also wanted to shine a spotlight on those who are already successful, and that includes some of our most important but underappreciated school staff. Day in and day out, these staff members are all in for the children and the communities that they serve. We need your help in identifying those local superheroes that make your communities special, welcoming and comfortable for the children and stakeholders you serve!”
Additional details about the awards ceremony to honor these unsung superheroes will be available soon. “We would like to recognize our statewide unsung superheroes at Workshop 2023,” Purnell said.
Please submit your nominations by Aug. 1.
