The New Jersey Department of Health recently issued a tick-borne disease education toolkit for educators, which includes slideshow presentations, student handouts, activity sheets, a quiz, parent letters, a tick check calendar, and a teacher guide that includes learning objectives and suggested activities.
The NJDOE encourages schools to use these materials when developing or updating their tickborne disease curricula.
