The New Jersey Department of Education is encouraging school districts to participate in its “Teach. Inspire. New Jersey.” campaign.

It is making the below recruitment photo and retention photo that school districts can use with the suggested captions that follow.

“We welcome the posting of both messages as this campaign has dual messaging for educator recruitment and retention,” the NJDOE stated in a news release. “Please use the #TeachInspireNJ hashtag, so we can see and repost your content.”

This social media campaign is funded through a line-item in Gov. Phil Murphy’s fiscal year 2024 budget. The campaign will run through May 2025.

The goal of the campaign is to promote educator retention and recruit prospective teachers to help bolster the K-12 educator workforce in New Jersey.

In tandem with the campaign, the NJDOE has launched a new website to serve as a central hub for updated resources and information for New Jersey’s current and aspiring teachers. At the website, you can download the above graphics in their full size and also find a host of other materials to promote the teaching profession.
