As part of the New Jersey Department of Education’s continued commitment to transparency, the New Jersey Department of Education announced in an advisory that it has launched an Entitlement Grants Dashboard that provides up-to-date information on how local educational agencies are using their entitlement funds.
By visiting this dashboard, the public will be able to see how much funding an LEA received from each federal entitlement funding stream – i.e., the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, Perkins funding, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act – what has been spent, and the time remaining to spend the funds.
The Entitlement Grants Dashboard can be accessed through the NJDOE Homeroom webpage by selecting the Electronic Web-Enabled Grant system link.
Additional Information
The dashboard shares information regarding how the entitlement funds have been spent. The allowable uses of funds at times may be similar across the three entitlement programs. Note that there are important distinctions between the programs, including the period of fund availability.
More information regarding these programs is available on the NJDOE’s Entitlement Grants webpage.
