The New Jersey School Boards Association will host its third annual Spring Education Symposium on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
This virtual event will feature concurrent training sessions presented by leaders in their respective fields, who will share valuable knowledge and meaningful information on various topics school officials have requested, such as school law, policy, educational initiatives and more.
Jonathan Pushman, director of governmental relations at NJSBA, will lead a legislative update session that will include a panel discussion with representatives from various education associations. Attendees will learn about noteworthy developments in and around the State House, as well as techniques that school leaders can employ to become more effective advocates.
Panel participants will include governmental relations experts from the New Jersey Education Association, the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association, the New Jersey Association of School Administrators, the Garden State Coalition of Schools, and the New Jersey Business and Industry Association.
School administrators who attend this session are eligible to earn QPA credits. QPA credits are only applicable to the live viewing of the session. QPA-approved session certificates will be emailed to attendees within two weeks of completion of the conference.
