As part of the Leadership Conference series, the New Jersey School Boards Association will host part two of “Calming the Waters of Turbulent Seas” on Friday, June 23, 2023. This session will be held at Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
The New Jersey School Boards Association is proud to welcome Apple Education as a leading speaker at the Leadership Conference. Representatives of the tech giant will host two sessions designed to enlighten and empower educators.
The conference’s opening session, “The Board’s Role in Reimagining Education in New Jersey,” will draw from best practices of Apple Distinguished Schools around the world. It will also address critical elements of leadership and the board’s role in guiding strategic technology decision-making.
During the morning breakout sessions, Apple Education representatives will team up with Dr. William Smith, superintendent of Point Pleasant Beach School District, to host: “Healthy Staffroom, Healthy Classroom: Building a Staff Wellness Initiative that Saves and Pays.” As superintendent, Smith has earned Apple Distinguished School certifications for both Antrim Elementary School and Point Pleasant Beach High School.

Registration for part two of the Leadership Conference series will begin at 9:30 a.m. The fee for this conference is $75 for members and $125 for non-members. This program offers four Board Member Academy Credits.
