Join the New Jersey School Boards Association as it sets the stage for Workshop 2024 by bringing together school officials from across New Jersey for a day of collaboration and professional growth at its Spring Conference on Friday, May 10.
Held at the Conference Center at Mercer from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., this in-person event is a prequel to Workshop 2024 and will feature more than a dozen training sessions covering topics of interest to boards of education. Explore topics such as student achievement, school safety, effective public relations and communication strategies and more.
Keynote Speaker Announced The NJSBA is pleased to announce its keynote speaker, Angelo DelliSanti, leadership solutions strategist at Capturing Kids’ Hearts, who will deliver a presentation on “Developing Leaders: Bringing Out the Best in Your Team.”
With over 15 years of experience in education, he has been a teacher, assistant principal and principal. Capturing Kids’ Hearts equips professionals in K-12 education to implement transformational processes focused on social-emotional wellbeing, relationship-driven campus culture, and student connectedness.
DelliSanti will highlight how to better develop leaders in your organization at all levels through building a relationship-driven culture, modeling proven leadership behaviors, and creating self-managing teams. Participants will walk away with skills to better connect and engage with others using a proven approach to building high-performing teams — from the district office to the classroom.

Registration Details NJSBA’s Spring Conference has a member fee of $99 per person and a nonmember fee of $129 per person. The program offers three Board Member Academy credits and one statewide/regional professional development credit.
Registration of school board members, administrators and district staff that have been included on the NJSBA census may be registered online, but only by the school business administrator who must attach a scanned copy of the purchase order with the registration. Register here.
