The Critical Policy Reference Manual is a comprehensive compilation of policies that school districts should have in place. The manual is intended to serve as a reference tool in the development and maintenance of a district’s policy manual. A policy is considered critical because it is addressed in the monitoring process, it is explicitly required by statute, administrative code or state board resolution, or common sense indicates it is necessary. The Critical Policy Reference Manual is a collection of almost 200 well-researched and legally documented policies.
This electronic version of the Critical Policy Reference Manual offers some enhancements that will make it more valuable to users. It provides a powerful search capability that tells you how many “hits” your search got and allows easy navigation. It provides links to related policy topics.
