The nonprofit TEEEM will hold its inaugural event, “A Taste of TEEEM,” on May 22, 2024, at The Terrace at Biagio’s in Paramus, New Jersey from 6 to 9 p.m.

This night of food and exhibits will celebrate TEEEM’s student changemakers who are empowering communities and highlight the work of TEEEM, which is an educator-driven organization that provides free, innovative programs to schools to help students create a better, kinder world by working with communities in impoverished places. The mission of TEEEM is to treat patients, feed children, educate students, empower women, build infrastructure and provide hope across five continents.

A Taste of TEEEM is a free event open to the public, but tickets must be reserved. There will be food, drink, awards and activities. For a ticket visit the TEEEM website. For questions regarding A Taste of TEEEM contact Taylor DeMaio via email.

TEEEM stands for The Empathy Equality Entrepreneurship Mission. It accomplishes its mission by providing programs, guidance and knowledge to students in schools at the high school, middle school and elementary levels. TEEEM connects its students with various humanitarian organizations around the world. It currently works with 10 partners around the world in such places as Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Kenya, Peru, South Dakota, Uganda and Ukraine.

TEEEM is looking to expand into other schools, Scout groups and other local organizations, whether for children or adults that are interested in aligning with its mission.

At the event, there will be exhibits showcasing what the students have done at their respective schools and how they’ve impacted some of the world’s neediest populations.
