The Pemberton Board of Education has earned the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Board Certification.

The board was presented with a plaque honoring its commitment to improvement and governance at the Burlington County School Boards Association’s Oct. 16 meeting.

Board Certification recognizes the full board’s commitment to effective governance and continuous improvement through training. Areas of focus include ethics, goal setting, board roles and responsibilities in the areas of policy development, finance, communications, community engagement, student achievement and other areas of need as identified by a district’s board.
