County school board association meetings provide professional development and the opportunity to stay connected with your peers.

These meetings offer up-to-date information on current education initiatives, legislation and public-school regulations. By attending, you can gain insights into best practices and work together to advance the achievement of all public-school students in New Jersey. It’s a chance to be part of a community that is striving for the same goal.

Whether in-person or virtual, your participation in any county association meeting is not just a learning opportunity, but also a chance to earn recognition. Each meeting attended earns you one Board Member Academy Credit and one county meeting credit, enriching your professional profile through the NJSBA Board Member Academy. Your dedication is rewarded, and your profile is enriched.

All district board members are encouraged to attend county meetings, with the added flexibility of choosing between in-person or virtual meetings. You are welcome to participate in meetings in counties other than your own if the topic is relevant to you.
