Legislative Update: Governor Approves Creation of Educator Evaluation Task Force; Senate Sends Bus Driver Shortage Measure to His Desk
The New Jersey Educator Evaluation Review Task Force will examine the educator evaluation process, gather data, evaluate the data and make recommendations concerning the annual evaluation process for teachers, principals, assistant principals and vice principals established pursuant to the TEACHNJ Act.
School Ethics Commission Adopts 10 Decisions at April Meeting
Of the 10 decisions adopted by the SEC, eight were posted on the SEC’s website; therefore, the other two matters (C63-23 and C74-23) remain pending. As in the past several months, none of the nine advisory opinions that the SEC considered making public are posted on the SEC’s website.
