Delegate Assembly
The twice-yearly meeting of the full NJSBA membership sets the policies that determine the Association’s position on educational issues, establishes Bylaws that govern its operations, and elects the NJSBA’s Officers.

Board of Directors
Selected by the 21 county school boards associations and other membership groups, the Board of Directors oversees NJSBA’s operations and finances.

Financial Reports
NJSBA’s finances undergo an annual audit. Its yearly budget is approved by the Board of Directors, following review by a Finance Committee consisting of local school board members.

County School Boards Associations
NJSBA offers training close to home through county school boards associations.

Consisting of local school board members, NJSBA’s standing committees study critical educational issues or assist in the governance process.

NJSBA Strategic Plan 2022-2024: Framework for the Future
The NJSBA Board of Directors approved the Strategic Plan 2022-2024: Framework for the Future on Nov. 19, 2021. The plan covers calendar years 2022, 2023 and 2024.
