Gabel Associates, which administers the ACES energy cooperative buying service, is warning New Jersey school districts about the possibility of receiving fraudulent energy renewal contracts.
Two separate ACES members notified Gabel Associates that they were requested to sign a fraudulent renewal for the ACES electric contract from a company called “Envirom Energy.”
There are currently no ACES contracts with a company by that name.
Please do not sign any renewal notice. All ACES accounts are only awarded through a competitive bid process and all awards are signed and authorized by the New Jersey School Boards Association, not by the individual school districts.
